@James_M_South Dotnet is extremely performative in most scenarios, especially considering how nice the C# language ergonomics are compared to say Rust. A C# AOT compiled executable can be just as fast as the Rust equivalent.

@scaling01 Agree. People are sleeping on using Opus to hill climb. We use it for optimizing CPU and memory, optimizing CI times, improving frame rates, reducing latency, any other kind of problem in the shape of “iterate on X with a profiler and dataset until it hits Y”

@gabefletcher @b_nnett I built an intel mac version based on it, just point your clanker at it and say build this for Windows, etc. You'll also need to update the version number it uses for the sandbox computer from 0.18.0 to 1.3.0 to connect (everything still works)

@ProgrammerDude @angerman @dhh IMO Windows Powertools got this right already, you can snap windows into predefined or custom tile areas if you want, move them around with the keyboard if you want or just drag stuff and resize at will. Best of all worlds.
