IITs do more than just educate; they draw scholars and research funding, but having one in every district would be excessive. Alternatively, we could enhance scientific and industry readiness through the underutilized polytechnic system. Providing hands-on, practical education in applied sciences to every student in a district right after matriculation could help divert them from the competitive exam cycle.
Why does India need roads ? Horses are fine without roads. They don’t need oil so it will also save on foreign exchange. There’s lots of grassland where horses can feed. India is making a historic mistake by building roads. It should focus on horses and donkeys.
