It's #FoodFriday again! Here's a picture from another happy book user and they're making Onion Bhajis. One of my personal favourites! It's so simple to make.
Happy #FoodFriday everyone! Every Friday on this account, we will now share a picture of some food being cooked from the book. Doesn't this look absolutely delicious? Want to give it a go? Get the book now! #cookingisfun
My wonderful Mum. My role model. My inspirator. The one who started The Road From Karachi. She's a role model to the entire family. Make her smile even more by getting the book!
My life has changed so much since we started The Road From Karachi. We started the project with nothing, and we're now selling books like crazy! Please share the book as far and wide as you can. And if you haven't got the book.. what are you doing? Get the book!
@Astlesbutchers' Paul posing for a photo with the book. He was so happy to commit to the photo and wanted to pose in many different styles! Want a copy? Get the book!
Have you booked your ticket yet to see me and Mum talk about The Road From Karachi? Are you wanting to? Are you also wanting to learn how to make authentic curries? If the answer to all those is YES then don't forget about our event at Southsea Library on 24/2. See you there!
Using funds raised from the book, we are installing water pumps in countries where fresh water isn't as freely available. We're collaborating with One Nation to get the pumps out there. So please, if you like curry and Indian and Pakistani food and want to help, please buy it!
The wonderful collaboration we had with Nosh Box. It was such a great collab. Two local businesses working together in Portsmouth. Thanks again to everyone who tried one of our Karachi Burgers, and especially thanks to Gary who put the burger together! #legend
By trade, I am an IT lecturer but passionate about cooking. An ex student of mine from @Be_HSDC sent me this. Isn't this wonderful? Just goes to show how simple cooking is from the book. Why not give it a go? Go into Waterstones in Southsea or go onto our website. #authenticcurry
Excellent! The head chef at the Golden Lion in Southwick has his copy of the book! Who knows.. maybe a recipe or two from the book could be on your plate soon? And whilst you're at it, why not get our book? It's on our website and in Southsea Waterstones. A perfect gift!
This is a great example of local businesses working together.. A fantastic collaboration with Nosh Box Portsmouth meets The Road From Karachi. Hopefully it'll be back soon.
We did it! We managed to sell all of the Karachi Burgers today. Thank you to everyone who bought. A thank you post will follow soon, but a big thank you goes to @Be_HSDC's Principal Mike Gaston. Mike has contributed a lot to this project and we are so grateful. Thanks Mike!
