How a mountain comes down so suddenly

2026年8月26日，尼泊尔与中国边境，一片约 0.2 平方公里的冰岩体从海拔约 5200 米处整体剥离——相当于 28 个标准足球场的一整块山体，垂直坠落约 1200 米砸进谷底。几分钟内，它演变成横扫跨境河谷的泥石流。

但"突然"是错觉。

垮塌之前，机制已经运行了很久：融水渗进发丝般的裂隙，白天融化、夜晚冻结，一次次撑开岩石；最先松动的，往往不是表面的冰雪，而是脚下的基岩。它看上去仍是一座山，却已经不再稳定。

崩塌只是最后一步。重力把高度变成速度，撞击与剪切把块体持续撕碎，冰、岩、土和水混成同一股洪流；峡谷把能量收束在河道里，让它一路裹挟、体量不断增大，最终冲进跨境河谷与下游聚落。
