If you thought of the US election, maybe realise how often our assumptions and biases drive our initial thoughts & shape lasting opinions
@jaredwright17 IMHO he makes every country’s match day 23. Even a World xv (when including subs).
Surely a candidate for a World Player of Year! (That’s possibly a bias though)
@andrewho7 22 years from watching that first one together. The first ball nick off Donald, Jonty’s run out and that 🌧️ semi. Would never have thought it would take this long to get to a final.
@tinusleroux My 12yo (just back from his own rugby tournament today) commented unprompted. ‘This ref is really good. She’s very open and you know what’s going on’.
@Brendennel@gallagherbren58 @7_rugby24 Finally, the referree is identified as the lead decision maker, so he can overrule the TMO guidelines (as I understand, but may be wrong).
Here you go. From 2022, so may be outdated. https://t.co/X1abtq9mQw
@Brendennel@gallagherbren58 @7_rugby24 Second part: Definitely refers to 'two phases'.
And here is the problem. However, if two weeks later you're arguing the try should stand because no-one saw it earlier enough (under the guidelines), then you're complaining about not winning off a refereeing error. Really?
@Zels77 Across 80 days you beat 🇳🇿 x2 (once their record defeat), run World #1 🇮🇪to within a score & beat 🇦🇷,🏴+🏴. Over consecutive weekends, you knockout 🇫🇷 at home, & 🏴+🇳🇿 to defend the World Cup (both times away from home). All with no good players or a coach. Must've been luck...
@daviesGDD@LynchCoach Curios you say that. In your opinion - where should a flyhalf stand from that ruck for a perfect drop goal attempt? And then look at the French defenders (DuPont and Jalibert) sprint straight off the mark. And then watch until the end of the clip. Pollard was set.
@LynchCoach Look at the end of the clip. Pollard straight behind the ruck, 20m from the posts with a 25 degree angle on his right foot…. Perfect positioning. French player in the way…
@ek_rugby@brettruganalyst If sides are equal on points, there is a ranking system. First it’s who beat who if two teams, then if three or more teams it’s points, most tries etc. Once the winner is decided, it reverts back to who beat who etc to find 2nd place.
