*Casuals sad Indian NT lost to Brazil and Uruguay*
Meanwhile, Indian football fans clocking that we had 3 & 6 shots on target against Brazil & Uruguay, and even managed to score against Uruguay:
Unfortunately, we are being blocked by certain oligarchs in order to maintain their monopolistic chokehold on the Indian people. You can guess who they are …
This is a crime against the people of India!

🗣️ “I have 4 silver medals from CWG and Asian Games, and the combined sum won’t be equivalent to one bronze medal of other states” - Murali Sreeshankar
India’s long jumper Murali Sreeshankar has criticised the disparity in state cash incentives for Asian Games medal winners.
Kerala’s latest incentive structure offers: Gold - ₹50 lakh, Silver - ₹30 lakh and Bronze - ₹20 lakh.
Sreeshankar said: “Kerala really needs to up their game. The declining talent pool is evident.”
In comparison, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh offer significantly higher incentives, with ₹3 crore for gold, ₹1.5 crore for silver and ₹75 lakh for bronze.
For reference, Murali Sreeshankar, after winning consecutive silver medals at the Asian Games, would receive ₹30 lakh per silver medal under Kerala’s current policy.
Meanwhile, Kiran Pahal, who won a gold medal as part of India’s Women's 4x400m relay team, would be awarded ₹3 crore under Haryana’s state policy.

The Indian Super League (ISL) has announced YouTube as its digital streaming partner for the 2026-27 season, with every match set to be available live and free on the platform. ISL has also partnered with Sony Sports Network to bring the League to television exclusively in India
Ironically, your bio says 'documenting hate crime and mob lynchings'
But you support Blasphemy laws and minority oppression as long as it doesn't affect you? How convenient!! 🤐

Please post about that Sri Lankan boy who is going to be executed by the Saudi Arabian government over a Facebook post, which was a response to a blasphemous post in the same language. What he did was still wrong, but a death sentence is not justified.
Kindly try to raise this issue and make it trend. Tomorrow, it could be anyone. Save the boy 🙏
While as a free-speech absolutist I feel India should shed all its blasphemy laws (8+ the last I counted), I also feel it should make an exception for this one species.
Death for any insult to Muhammad by a non-Muslim. And death for any insult to a Hindu deity by a Muslim.
While not ideal, they are killing for blasphemy and getting away with it anyway. Might as well make it reciprocal. At least then we’ll have the satisfaction of tit-for-tat and that maulana who instigated Nupur would not live to play chad at his madrassa.
🚨 Officially announced by the ISL.
Despite contrary reports from some media outlets, let me clarify again that all ISL matches will be live-streamed for free on YouTube worldwide, including India, not deferred as reported last week, which created confusion among fans.

Handles like @Muslim_ITCell celebrate the death sentence by justifying it on the grounds that the authorities treated it as a confirmed case of blasphemy. So what?
Read the whole case. The Sri Lankan Hindu responded after a Sri Lankan Muslim allegedly insulted Shiva. But in some Islamic countries, the law appears to be applied selectively. Where Islam grows, freedom of expression gets restricted.
In other countries, people can make statements about any religion without facing the death penalty. But this is what happens when your religion is in the majority.
How can your God be offended by what a human being says?
How can your law allow the death penalty for only one person when both were allegedly involved in blasphemy?
Your prophet is not entitled to immunity from criticism. Your religion is not entitled to immunity from mockery. And your feelings do not give you the right to decide that another human being deserves to die.
Be offended. Argue back. Condemn the person. Walk away.
But there is absolutely nothing anyone can say about Islam or Muhammad that makes killing them justified. Nothing!
Anojan is facing execution in Saudi Arabia over a FB comment, over a video of a Muslim man kicking a dog following Hindu pilgrims in Sri Lanka. After a Muslim insulted a Hindu deity online, Anojan responded by insulting Prophet Muhammad. For that, he's been sentenced to death. Barbaric society.
Saudi Arabia has sentenced Anojan Sivarasa, a Sri Lankan migrant worker, to death. His family is trying to bring him home.
The 26-year-old moved to Saudi Arabia in 2025 to work for Denys Arabia, an engineering, procurement, and construction contractor. During Sri Lanka’s June 2026 Pada Yatra, a stray dog began following pilgrims, who named him after Lord Subramaniam. Then, a video of a man kicking the dog went viral. One user made a reportedly derogatory comment about Shiva. Sivarasa responded with an allegedly derogatory comment about Prophet Muhammad.
Sivarasa deleted his comment after 10 minutes and apologized on video. But people still circulated his words with his photo. By June 30, Denys Arabia had fired him. “People in Saudi Arabia knew nothing about this matter. It was individuals in Sri Lanka who sent emails to the company where my brother worked,” Hamsidan, Sivarasa’s brother, told BBC.
On July 1, the Sri Lankan embassy in Saudi Arabia asked Denys Arabia to help bring Sivarasa back home. The next day, the company said Saudi police had arrested Sivarasa for violating cybercrime law. On July 28, a court convicted him, sentencing him to five years in prison and 3 million Saudi riyals (about $800,000).
Both sides appealed the sentence, with the prosecution seeking the death penalty. On September 17, the court sentenced Sivarasa to death for blasphemy. Executions for blasphemy are rare in Saudi Arabia. The country executed a record 356 people in 2025.
Sivarasa’s family hasn’t heard from him since September 26. On October 6, a Sri Lankan delegation left for Saudi Arabia to meet his lawyers. Sri Lanka President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said his government would seek a pardon. About 250,000 Sri Lankans live in Saudi Arabia.
“I plead for mercy for the wrongs committed by my son,” Rasamanickam Yogalakshmi, Sivarasa’s mother, told BBC. “Please forgive him and send him back to us.”
A dog used to follow pilgrims to a Hindu religious site in Sri Lanka, and videos of it were shared warmly in Sri Lankan Hindu circles.
In late June, offended by the videos, a Muslim man went to the pilgrimage site, located the dog, kicked it, and uploaded the video, sparking outrage. During one such argument, a Sri Lankan Muslim wrote a derogatory post against the Hindu deity.
Anojan Sivarasa, a Sri Lankan Hindu working as a laborer in Saudi Arabia, didn't like the comment and responded with a reply that was allegedly derogatory to the Prophet.
Anojan's well-wisher immediately warned him. He took down the comment and issued a video apology within five minutes in which he said he was responding to an insult to his faith. However, it was too late. Anojan's fellow Sri Lankan Muslims had already taken a screenshot and emailed it to his employer in Saudi Arabia. His employer promptly reported it to the authorities, who arrested Anojan and put him on trial. He has been sentenced to death.
Saudi Arabia rarely reverses a decision once it has made one, but there should be global outrage over this. Blasphemy laws or whatever, the man was only responding to an insult to his faith, deleted the comment, and issued an apology within minutes, yet he will still have to pay with his life while those who provoked him are rejoicing in Sri Lanka. This is unacceptable. Anyone calling themselves a free speech supporter and not opposing this is a hypocrite of the highest order.
