@WHENESOTA Waking up and thinking it thru, last night verified my biggest worries about the team:

— still cannot keep the ball out of their net (which is vital in knockout rounds - go look at winners and 2nd place teams thru the yrs and their defensive record)

— they have minimal depth

You’re trying to win the series not a game… you manage series correctly by starting Gus in 2 knowing you can go w/Wally in must win game 3 (if loss in gm 2)

@ChadHartmanShow Disagree-if Wally started tonight & lost, you HAVE to change to Gus in game 3. Would u really want to have Gus start in quasi-must-win when he hadn't played in 25 days (like Talbot few yrs ago)?! This way its win-win. Gus plays well, wins, play Gus. Gus loses back to Wally Game 3

@RussosFilter Problem is if he has a bad night now you put Gus in the Talbot role of having to win but not playing in 3 weeks - you have to start Gus bc if they lose they get to go back to Wally in the all

@RobertTiffin @RussoHockey Our seats are 4th row behind wild bench - in pain, he took his skates off after saluting the fans and gave them to trainer -- the amount of tape on the ankle was significant, but nowhere as significant that he couldn't walk down the tunnel without assistance! Nordic warrior!
