@NewStatesman@chrisdeerin This article lacks balance. Policy making is hard, budgets are limited, demands are rising. Adjusting or removing policies in the light of new data should be seen as positive and progressive. But rather, the writer unfairly challenges the intellectual rigour of the originators.
Disturbingly politically blind. Brexiteer Steve Baker on @BBCRadio4 just said: “What an extraordinary opportunity for Northern Ireland: dual access to both markets.”

Get a better paid job, get a second job, wear an extra jumper, eat for 30p, swim in shit, live with Covid, don't call an ambulance, live without fresh fruit and veg, stop buying lattes and Netflix, live with your parents, stop talking down Britain, stop ruining Brexit and shut up
The habit of MPs to leave in disgrace but write a little letter about their best bits is wild. Imagine if we all did it. ‘So sorry I got drunk at the office do and did a wee in that pot plant - I *know* HR have to sack me. But remember the project I managed in 2007. Nailed that.’
Nadhim Zahawi made a careless error over his tax affairs. Just like that time he carelessly bought his £1million house through a company in Gibraltar and threatened to sue a journalist who asked questions.

@rosieICM @ayeshahazarika @islamacfadyen Booked tickets for the show at Teviot for Katie and I. Turned up last Saturday - a full week too early, walked home feeling a little foolish. Katie now in Perth for the weekend. A Festival fail.
@British_Airways integration between BA and VeriFLY seems to be extremely poor. Such a pain getting everything logged in VeriFLY and get green Ready to Travel indicator but can’t check in to BA. Pointless app, needless customer frustration and worry. Rubbish.
1/ LEGAL BLOOD ALCOHOL LIMIT TO BE RAISED
With only 1000 road deaths a year in Australia, most not even alcohol-related, there is spare hospital capacity to deal with alcohol-related accidents. A legal limit of 0.05g/100ml is an unacceptable infringement on the right to enjoyment
