One thing I think we have confirmed this season:
While Kenny Payne seems to be a good person, was an excellent player, and thrived in player development at the highest level… he is not a leader
Leaders don’t throw everyone else under the bus and take zero accountability.
How many times has Payne taken the blame on himself during this mess? It’s always someone else’s problem.
True leaders take accountability for their actions and mistakes.
True leaders understand how to motivate others.
KP was a great number 2. It’s becoming increasingly apparent that he is a disastrous number 1.
