@lindsayballant @FuMikechu Agreed that Shapiro's a bad pick, but it seems like a lot of the folks opposing him are going to find a reason to be unhappy regardless. If anti-Shapiro voices want to be taken seriously they have to credibly claim they'll get behind the ticket if their demands are met.

@_Jason_Dean_ The problem with the wait to pick a VP is that political junkies are bored and like to root for someone and root against someone else, so over time they end up constructing a narrative that the decision has any actual policy implications
