@dejardinant@timelessfaithh Where is this distinction made in the commandment? It simply says don’t bow to a statue made of a creature. In Mary’s case, don’t bow to a statue of Mary (creature). Says nothing of worship or veneration. That’s what is being done. Clear violation of the commandment.
