@Protestia “A God without wrath brought men without sin into a kingdom without judgment through the ministrations of a Christ without a cross."
H. Richard Niebuhr
@adamcarolla Millions of years of tooth and claw evolution and now some flatulence with some name calling reduces you to a quivering pile of gelatin.
Nature has clearly selected you for extinction.
@AngAesthetics When I see posts like the one you’re commenting on, this is what immediately comes to mind. It’s only meant to inflame and it’s nothing but rage bait that feeds the flesh and the ego. I avoid contentious people.
While this part of the song is a little more scream-o than my personal preference allows, all the rest of the song is actually very beautiful. I don’t object to the anger and the screaming in the song, I’ve always thought this song had a sense of sadness to it, of people longing for the redeemer to come and to save them, the frustration and exhaustion bearing up underneath the weight of sin and death . While the song had a sense of sadness to it, it also had a great sense of hope.
