None of the replacement projects, which are actually just ideas for consultations, are actually in his constituency AFAICS
Leeds tram would be nice, but that's a debacle that has been running for most of my life.
Jason McCartney MP delivering the good news that instead of a high speed rail link to his constituency we're back to a load of vapourware promises for things that will never be built
Thanks mate
@JenWilliams_FT @MarkReckons Gonna be some shocked people when they find out the HS2 money doesn’t really exist without the HS2 revenue it was meant to generate.
When Tory politicians rail against "elites", do they mean the billionaires who fund their party?
Do they mean a Prime Minister with £700m of assets?
Do they mean CEOs of banks and oil companies?
Of course not. They mean anyone with a degree.
It's pure distraction.
@TheGlobe_Hudds do you have bike parking? I tried to stop by today to pick up a prescription from the surgery, but couldn't find anywhere to lock my bike and saw that I couldn't take it inside.
I will have to return by car!

@sexandtheswiss@salway_huw They do happen to me obviously, but I suspect that the vast majority of them are deliberate rather than through a lack of understanding. I don't believe the videos or twitter spats help much with that.
