The last time I reported about Ssemakadde, he was in the high court in Kampala fighting for a group of primary school teachers who had faced some injustice.

Ssemakadde told me,
“Lutaaya nze sirina sente era bano abasomesa bange mbayamba kuba kyebaliko kituufu, tebalina sente naye nsaba obaweeyo ka byte.” I told him that journalism is free and I will interview them and publish their story if the NBS editorial committee passes it.

And this is what I have known the man to be. He represents charcoal sellers, market women, jailed activists. Even then when I interviewed him asking why he broke with tradition and wore dreadlocks and jungle boots to court, he spoke of the need too decolonize the legal profession.

@antonioguterres Thank you SG, but when UK is trying to force asylum seekers to Rwanda, UN is not doing anything, when US is denying entry to asylum seekers, you don't do anything as well and when Uganda is suffocated of resources to support refugees you are quite. Please walk the talk.

But Ugandan indiscipline, you will see bodaboda and motorists trying to block him. Just follow the law and let the man have a right of way, you won't get any problem.

@FrankTumwebazek I totally agree with you Honourable Minister. Countries which put more restrictions and did more vaccination were affected by more COVID waves than those that had less restrictions like Tanzania, South Sudan, North Korea etc. I think we need to lead our lives normally this time.
