@BadgerSoftball@Aliviabark The ESPN announcers said first pitch was illegal. The second was called a ball, but the home plate ump signaled 1-1. Then a foul ball down the line, then swing as miss. Again, the ump had signaled 1-1. So why wasn't that a K to end the game?!?
@ToddMilewski Why would a track coach want to remain at a school that does not provide a place for his team to practice? Why would he continue to endure such utter disrespect?
@bportnoy15@SBJ Add to those pointing out the Fickell failure, the UW track teams just finished up their 2nd winter with no place to practice.
In WI.
In winter.
And the plan going forward to fix the absurd situation?
NONE.
He ran an AD that did not even provide them a place to practice!!
@cade_krohn@ToddMilewski For the most part, I completely disagree.
His worst failure is that we just completed the second winter through which the track teams had no place to practice.
In Wisconsin. In the winter.
And what is the current plan to remedy this ridiculous situation?
There is NONE!!
@Buccigross A note on NCAA hockey and b-ball same year:
I grew up in Wis, went to UWisconsin with others from high school. Others from HS went to Marquette, in Milw.
1977, Sat night, my Marquette friends cheered for UW winning hockey. 2 night later, we cheered them winning BB.
@HeartlandPostWI Do you guys "see" any voters in the photo being influenced? Are the voters there in the room with you now? Are they speaking to you?
LOL
@RepJamesComer
Saw you on TV saying ICE at airports will drive libs crazy.
I'm a lib. ICE at airports taking away shampoo bottles from ppl instead of arresting ppl outside Home Depot is fine by me.
I LOVE IT. Keep it up! LOL
@LudwigJohnson1@NCAAIceHockey@BadgerWHockey@NCAA For hockey, none.
But a family friend told me last week that she might try to join the UW track team for their outdoor season. A five-minute miler in high school.
@NCAAIceHockey@NCAA@BadgerWHockey Anyone wondering "how?":
20-21 was the COVID season, NCAA said wouldn't count against anyone's eligibility
21-22, she "centralized" with the US Olympic team, didn't play NCAA at all.
23-24, lost to Ohio in the final, 1-0.
@JasonRossJr1
FWIW, I had feared some 'lack of familiarity' mistakes from Bucci today, and I didn't catch any. So good for him.
But it still should have been your game to call.
