@LovelandSZN This isn’t just about sprint speed because Crawford and Pete have around the same speed but the difference is in the read off the bat. We can tell this because when we cut to the play Crawford is just breaking back while Pete is in full sprint.

@JaysInUSA @BlueJayEnjoyer Most of that if from their catchers. The cubs have a IF/OF FRV about 15x higher than the jays. Get rid of PCA and it drops to only 9x higher than the jays.

Not to mention he wasn’t good last year either at 0 FRV. He hasn’t been that gold glove fielder since 2022.
