Hollywood is far from dead. In fact, the current state of the industry is merely a sequel to what has come before. πΈ
My thoughts about the current state of the industry, and the time I saw Ryan Gosling perform Christina Aguilera's "Genie in a Bottle." πβ¬οΈ
@MatthewKlekner I knew I was going to love it, but I didn't know it would be to this level. Like, this feeling settled in by Day 2 and I haven't stopped thinking about it.
@MatthewKlekner 4. NPB Game - COMPLETELY different than the USA expereicne
5. Shinjuku/Shibuya - All really fun vibes and most resemble the Tokyo we all make up in our heads from TV. (Sky Tree or Sky Tower are a fun way to take it all in.)
@MatthewKlekner Oh man, everything about it is so amazing, honestly.
Here's a few favorites:
1. Omoide Yokocho if you want to feel like Deckard in Blade Runner
2. Mt. Fuji and/or Temple Tours - both are incredible
3. Rakkan Ramen Nishiazabu - the original location of our favorite DTLA Ramen
@JishSwish This is honestly the best advice for a bad golfer. I struggle massively with distance so I had to learn course management as a defensive strategy. Knowing what you can do with the game you've got goes a long way.
@UnderFaceValue I saw Oasis at the Hollywood Bowl (2005) and Staples Center (2008). Both packed. I saw Noel tour solo (while still in Oasis) promoting a hits album and they were giving away tickets. Wild range of outcomes here. I'd guess some of the UK market that gets priced out would travel.
@AmericanNumbers Excellent take, as always. As someone who has produced TV for a while, the lack of understanding that people are content to move on their specific interests rather than suffer through second rate material shot out of an IP confetti canon is why we've ended up here.
