It’s #MedievalMonday! Time to visit new excavations of the Mongolian-German project @dai_weltweit/#kaak_dai at the summer palace of a Mongol Khan in Orkhon Valley (c. 13th cent. AD). Masses of glazed tiles point to representational buildings. Getting there + back was interesting.
