" Nafasi yangu ya KDF ilipewa mtu ambaye hakuwa hata kwa uwanja"- A man from Garissa alleges favoritism after losing his rightful KDF slot to another person!
Former US president Barack Obama came across a choir of Danish girls practicing their singing in their apartment with their balcony doors open. He kindly asked them if they would keep singing for him to enjoy.
On Day One of the protests, a courageous security guard from Hatari Security at Java House Kimathi gave us shelter, ensuring our safety. Today, he was heartlessly fired when he reported to work. This selfless act of bravery should be celebrated, not punished. We implore Hatari Security to reconsider their decision. Or even better, If anyone has job opportunities for this hero, please reach out. He deserves our support and gratitude.
Power to you the young people of Kenya. You are speaking up and your voices are being heard far beyond the Kenyan borders. We hope your leaders too are listening! We continue to stand in solidarity with you. Viva ✊🏿
President William Ruto promised the Country that the days of Police being used to fight political battles are long gone. He promised Police will never again kidnap & disappear Kenyans. Why then has the Police gone rogue? Why is the Police in civilian clothes use vehicles with civilian plates to kidnap Gen Z exercising their democratic rights to protest? If the @NPSOfficial_KE are enforcing the law, if they are, why hide? How can the Police kidnap a son of our Attorney General? No civilized Country kidnaps its citizens & not the son of an Attorney General. Does IGP Koome want our Police to be like the Haiti militias? The High Court has to draw a red line for the Police. The @ODPP_KE must call out the Police. Darkness fears democracy.

A victim has come forward with serious allegations against a Pediatric Neurologist at Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi.
“Hi Nyakundi, hide my identity. There's a doctor at the Aga Khan University Hospital Nairobi, Doctors Plaza First Floor, a Pediatric Neurologist. This doctor is a monster, so brutal and abusive to his Secretary, a mama who is in her late 50s. Now this story I was told by a concerned secretary of another doctor in the same building who is privy to what the doctor's Secretary has been going through for so many years and they have not known how to handle it or how to help her.
The secretary works under despicable slavery conditions apart from paying her peanuts as salary, the doctor doesn't allow the lady to take any leave or off, not even for a single day since he employed her many years back. Even when the secretary lost her mum a few years ago, she was not allowed to mourn her mum. She was only allowed a half-day off to attend her burial and return to work immediately after the tributes/eulogy was finished. As we speak today, the secretary's daughter is lying in the mortuary after a long illness (tumor). I know most people may not believe this but the poor woman is still working as usual from 8am to 5pm and sometimes past that time. Reason? The doctor cannot allow the secretary to mourn her daughter. Even as relatives gather at her home to carry on with the funeral arrangements, the lady secretary is working as usual or else she risks losing her job.
I was informed that during the time the secretary's daughter was sick suffering from a tumor, her mother couldn't even be allowed to visit her at KNH, she could only remain at the clinic crying and suffering depression in silence. She informed those close to her that the doctor has only allowed her a few hours to attend the funeral when it shall be held. Please highlight this case to help the lady. She fears losing that job choosing to suffer mental and physical torture because she is the only breadwinner to her kids.”
Hello Nyakundi, kindly hide my ID.
I would like to bring this to your attention. Festive Limited (HQ is along Lunga Lunga RD) is an established company. However, I feel their recruitment process is skewed and oppressive. First, when you seek employment there they would force you to shave to a bald and provide a recommendation letter.
If they offer you a job, for instance, a salesperson they would demand you deposit 10k as security. So, the question is why ask a job seeker to deposit a refundable 10k for security yet you deduct a refundable 2k from their monthly peanut salaries? Additionally, for you to be hired, you must have a guarantor who's a civil servant. This guarantor will have to deposit their payslip for you to be offered a job.
After paying, 10k, depositing a payslip of a civil servant, and handing over a recommendation letter, you will have to work for the company for about 2 weeks for free before your name is entered in the payroll.
I feel this is exploitative, abusive and oppressive. This is taking advantage of the poor whose voices aren't heard because of their social status.
I feel that this is how many companies in Industrial Areas abuse employee rights. Please, let's fight for the downtrodden who are abused by these callous employees.
1/23 I'm driving up Limuru road towards Redhill. It’s raining heavily, there's a bit of traffic at the Ruaka market section due to flash floods & low visibility. Suddenlly, I notice a massive obstacle headed towards me

@DrAlfredMutua Why are people demeaning a barber?
It is a decent job and people have raised families from that occupation.
Peace be with his family during this difficult moment
There is a complete breakdown of services, not only at immigrations where you have to part with Ksh. 20,000 as bribe to have your passport printed, but also in other government offices. I have seen a number of complaints regarding Certificate of Good Conduct and other basic certificates. Even the process of registrations at the AG’s office is becoming a nightmare.
One wonders if the incompetence has deliberately been created to provide loopholes for people to make money through bribes. It is unfortunate that after the progress we had made as a country in creating efficient systems and mainstreaming government services, we are back to this phase of ‘nchi ya kitu kidogo’
I understand that I have been trending for dealing with a horrible criminal called Babu Owino. Unless we address the run away thuggery, violence, abuse of power and impunity exhibited by Babu effectively, it might become an acceptable practice where those with a bit of power, money and guns, get away with murder! We cannot allow that to happen!
