Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a conversation with the Indian pilot from the flight from Dubai, Captain Smit Machchhar:
"You are a hero for Israel, India, and the entire world. I invite Prime Minister @NarendraModi and you to light a flame on Israeli Independence Day." 🇮🇱🇮🇳
During the emotional conversation that took place this evening, the Prime Minister asked Captain Machchhar how it all started, and Machchhar revealed new details about the terrifying moments in the cockpit.
⚠️ IF THAT FLYDUBAI PLANE HAD CRASHED…
1️⃣ The Indian pilot would have been blamed instantly.
2️⃣ Racists would have flooded social media with “Indian pilots” narratives before investigators even reached the wreckage.
3️⃣ Pakistani troll accounts would have amplified it, turning a tragedy into another India-bashing opportunity.
4️⃣ AI171 and the Phuket incidents would have been dragged in as evidence of a “pattern of behaviour” of Indian pilots.
5️⃣ Every unrelated Indian aviation incident would suddenly have become part of a narrative about supposedly “unsafe Indian pilots”.
6️⃣ Meanwhile, Oman’s lack of any meaningful history of aviation terrorism would have been used to bolster the India pilot angle.
7️⃣ If Indian pilot Capt Smit hadn’t survived & fought back to save the plane, the world would have got an entirely different story.

Captain Smit Machchhar was stabbed so badly that he needed hospitalization and surgery, yet despite that, he was able to send a distress signal and open the cockpit doors
There were many heroes on that flight, but without his actions, none of them would've mattered
Can we honour this hero! He saved hundreds of people. I ask you to join me in wishing him a prompt recovery. Sir we thank you for your bravery and sacrifice to save innocent souls.
The whole world is praying for the brave son of India to recover soon.
There should be a greater focus on having local pilots in every country rather than relying on Muslim pilots.
We sincerely pray that this brave young man from India recovers soon.
Captain Smit Machchhar is a true hero! A man of great courage and valor. Saving 174 lives and now fighting for his own life.
All across the world, let us join together and pray for Captain Machchhar. May God’s healing power restore the Captain and bring a swift recovery. ❤️🩹 🇺🇸🇮🇳🇮🇱

Do you now understand the plan?
3-in-1 attack to cause issues between allies by seeding misinfo & mistrust if they had successfully carried out the plan.
I'm now 99.99% certain Terroristan was somehow involved in this.
What a day. What a moment. What a beautiful reminder to choose life. The professionalism of flydubai, the heroism of the pilot, and the courage and spirit of the passengers on FZ1073 turned this fifth day of Sukkot into a day we will remember. God blessed us with peace. And tonight, flights from the UAE continue back and forth as normal to Israel. Life continues. Peace continues. Nothing will stop us from building, connecting, and believing in a better future.
God bless a nation that always finds a reason to smile, celebrate, and cherish life.

#WATCH | Delhi | On Israel PM Netanyahu lauding the bravery of Captain Smit Machchhar, Israel's Ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, says, "He should be praised. Not only our leader, our prime minister, but also our president and the head of the Israeli parliament and the entire people of Israel are admiring the fact that Captain Smit Machchhar used all his experience and his character to really do what was needed to do, because if he hadn't opened the door, the plane could have crashed."
