I love my family/pets & America; Dr Who (the ONLY Dr I still trust), Genesis, Outlander, Pacific ocean beaches, & CO Rocky Mountains! No DMs plz; I won't answer
@warDaniel47 Try this instead. Think of AI Data Centers as subdivisions, except the homes of the 'subdivision' are chips. Every one of the chips in these data centers has a MAC address, unique in the world, every home in the data center is a 'rental' property. Now figure out the property tax.
@warDaniel47 These mass surveillance state Ai data centers will mainly be used to rewrite over our waters memory.
We must as a human species refuse Ai data centers to be built. And must take them down at any cost.
People rise up against the Ai BEAST SYSTEM before it's too late.
Thank you Governor DeSantis. Please ban flock cameras as well. What is the good of having a Constitution when it can be blatatnly disregarded as easily as putting in huge Data Centers and Flock Cameras for the very purpose of tracking and tracing our every move???? @GovRonDeSantis. @POTUS . .
@j_smith1968@warDaniel47 Pres Trump already made this law invalid at the start of 2nd term. He wrote an EO making Federal regulations of AI the final word on it and then wrote similar wording into the Big Beautiful Bill. State laws won't have a leg to stand on legally. Nor county, city, etc...
Exactly! They honestly believe the AI deserves water and humans do not. This after telling people for decades to conserve water!!!
Now they want us to pay for them too!!! They want private funding for them above and beyond the taxes you’re already paying!! Your pensions and retirement money.
Once built they enslave you. That’s what you get!! You get to be a slave! The people nearby these centers get brown contaminated water, sky high energy bills, with noise and light pollution. Some even have their properties taken! Sounds fun!! What a deal!!
@KristiAmos9@warDaniel47@tiaintampa He can pretend that he didn't know that Pres Trump passed an EO & a duplicate in the BBB that makes Fed regulation the final word on AI regulations, so states have no real say regardless of laws passes to the contrary. Makes him 'look like' he's fighting for the people. But isnt
@warDaniel47@RavensEyes_ Considering Florida's coastline is only second to Alaska, ceramic seawater heat exchangers might not be cheap, but data centers don't get license to pollute our fresh water or, God forbid, the aquifer.
Highest tech out there wants to exploit the cheapest water they can? F*ck no!
Governor Ron DeSantis signed such a law. On May 7, 2026, he signed Senate Bill 484 (SB 484) in Lakeland, Florida, at Florida Polytechnic University.

This bill targets the impacts of large-scale (hyperscale) AI data centers on utilities and resources. Key provisions include:Utility cost protections: It prohibits utilities from passing data center costs (especially electricity) onto residential and small business customers. Large data centers must cover their own infrastructure and operational burdens.
https://t.co/oXgMLVKZCv
Water usage protections: It restricts data centers from depleting public water supplies, particularly during droughts. Water management districts must deny permits if water use harms local resources, and it encourages or requires use of reclaimed water where feasible.
https://t.co/OBaZKrogoE
Local control: It preserves local governments' authority over land-use decisions for data centers.

The law stems from DeSantis' broader push for an "AI Bill of Rights" and consumer protections against unchecked AI data center growth, which can consume massive amounts of electricity and water (e.g., hundreds of millions to billions of gallons annually for large facilities).

@warDaniel47 Data Centers are supposed to generate all their own power, plus give back to the grid. If ANY utility raises rates for electricity due to data centers, they are breaking federal law. As for water, NONE of these centers need ANY WATER to cool their systems.

Data Centers should have no ability to force easements, arrange seizure of land under eminent domain, use water or utilities provided for residents. Providing water and utilities For the data centers should be a business expense FOR THEM as part of their own business plan. They can build their own power plants.
