So, I was in Birmingham over the weekend. I finally got to see my hero's for the first time ever. And their last time ever. The weekend didn't go as planned. I was running on 5 hours of sleep all weekend and I did not enjoy my time in Birmingham. However, I did enjoy the 10+ hour concert, even though I was running on fumes :D
I think all the bands and super groups did an excellent job!

Eternally grateful to my special lady who managed to secure a ticket for me when I couldn't back in February.
The 15 year old version of me who had wanted to see @BlackSabbath as soon as he'd discovered them is absolutely beaming and emotional after looking back on all the footage from the weekend.

I'll try to post more pictures and videos at a later point. I didn't take much because I wanted to take it all in and be "in the moment", as cheesy as that sounds.

I had a great seat. Not close to the stage at all. So everyone looked tiny, but there were big screens. I still had a great view nonetheless.
And, to think I was in the same stadium as the man that inspired me to pick up the guitar is blowing my mind right now, now that the dust has settled.
I am so so happy I got to be there and say goodbye to my hero's. They inspired me on so many levels, but mostly musically. I'd probably not still be here if weren't for those four guys from Aston, Birmingham.
