@dobssi Can’t underestimate the human element tho. Same for any of us - you want to feel wanted. He and his team felt he was fit, we responded by looking around for other options. The issue clearly wasn’t that major given that we wanted to proceed. We just pissed him off. Awful look.

@Benjwinst No problem buying low/selling high (Ndiaye) and Richarlison upgrades on Beto - but mooted numbers are awful. Concerned Grealish halts excellent progress George has made - and we’re very short of real quality at right mid now. Weakened wide mids. Tete is good (if he can stay fit).

@EvertonAllSorts The news was gonna come from Ornstein or someone else, anyway. This way the fans were able to show the club - and player - exactly what we think. Whether that has any impact remains to be seen but at least we had the chance.
