The entire Indian media yesterday claimed that the accused from #Jamui incident was shot in an encounter.

Videos of him limping and police bringing him to the POLICE STATION on shoulders went viral.

🚨Very concerning information coming in.

Both the CBI and ED are being pressured by the regime to raid close associates of the two Election Commissioners. Both of them are resisting pressure to hold a joint press conference with Gyanesh Kumar and unequivocally refute and trash the Indian Express report.

The same had happened to Ashok Lavasa. His family members were sent IT notices before he was pressured to resign.

This is completely unacceptable. The government has totally forgotten that this is post-Jantar Mantar India and the public cannot be fooled through such illegal and fraudulent tactics.

1) Billionaires in India will push the government to declare gold an unproductive asset.

2) Government will put some new type of tax on Gold: to move money from Gold into banks. Call it penalty tax.

3) This moves "savings" in Gold to bank deposits.

Banks take the money give to cronies to fund their adventures and sub-par products.

4) People holding gold in "virtual" format would pay some kind of holding/transaction/closing tax to accelerate this movement.

5) Example: SGB's were retrospectively taxed. The spot prices of virtual gold can be moved with government's policies.

If this is not done: more money will flow to Gold.
This creates a currency weakening problem:-

INR is already aggressively falling. With UPI's bad handling now: we have already given an indication to businesses "move towards cash".

This creates a natural flow to RE/Gold. This further weakens currency (people save in gold, not INR).

You'll benefit by either buying gold in physical gold (this prevents you against currency depreciation) or investing in foreign currencies (Eg. buying US Stocks).

Sooner you understand, the better it is.

The video from Jamui, Bihar is deeply disturbing.

Two Class 10 students were stopped on a road. Harassed. Humiliated. Molested. A young girl, hands folded, begged to be let go while goons groped her and dragged her away.

Who gave these men the right to behave like this? This is not "culture." It is patriarchy: the belief that any man can police a girl's body, her movement, her choices.

When control is mistaken for culture, and such attitudes are normalised by Andhbhakts, mobs start believing they are the law.

Every individual in that video must be identified and prosecuted under POCSO, and justice must be swift. And if the incident happened on September 19th, why are the culprits not behind bars yet?

And the Bihar government must answer why a girl is not safe on a public road at 7 pm?

जब नियंत्रण को ही संस्कृति मान कर 'अंधभक्त' ऐसी सोच को सामान्य ठहराते हैं, तो भीड़ को लगने लगता है कि वही कानून है।

उस वीडियो में दिख रहे हर व्यक्ति की पहचान होनी चाहिए और उन अपराधियों पर POCSO के तहत मुकदमा चलाकर उन्हें जल्द से जल्��� सजा मिलनी चाहिए। और अगर ये घटना 19 सितंबर की है तो गुनहगार अब तक सलाखों के पीछे क्यों नहीं हैं?

और बिहार सरकार जवाब दे कि शाम 7 बजे कोई लड़की राज्य की सड़कों पर सुरक्षित क्यों नहीं है?

India's tax system is NOT broken. It is doing exactly what it is designed to do.

Almost 80% Indians have very poor income. Charging them any direct tax is draconian.

They are already paying taxes in many other forms: eg. sub-standard labor laws, people like Salman driving over them etc.

So who is left? 20% who can afford to pay. This group includes UHNIs, HNIs, business owners, job creators and direct tax payers.

Now, you can't tax business folks/job creator/HNI/UHNI; tax them too much they'll move their base. If they move, they move a lot of jobs with them.

So who is left? white collar workers. Or people trapped into India's financial system or employment ecosystem. In simple words: folks, who cannot move.

Widening the tax base sounds good. But realistically, it is incredibly hard to do.

What is easier to do is creating more employment. The tax base automatically expands.

What can actually be done?

1) Cut down the size of the government (do we really need the President to live in a Palace?).
2) Cut down freebies.
3) Turn freebies into Universal Basic Income for everyone.
4) Government spending on advertisements.
5) Giving special benefits to small businesses. More businesses = more jobs for bottom 80%, who in a few years could potentially become tax payers.
6) Rather than having 2 As, we should have 20,000 small businesses.

India does not have a taxation problem.
We have an employment problem.

Unfortunately, no one seems to be focused on solving that.

“Customers will not pay. Merchants will.”

Madam Finance Minister, merchants don’t run charities.

If you force a merchant to pay 12 extra on a 3,000 UPI transaction, he’ll recover that 12 from somewhere.

He’ll increase the product price, reduce discounts or add it to the bill.

The cost doesn’t disappear because the Finance Ministry says “merchant will pay.”

This is basic economics.

Think about it: her only “mistake” was asking a question to an elected Chief Minister — in a country that claims to be the world’s largest democracy.

It is genuinely heartbreaking to see how far we have come. There was a time when even the Prime Minister regularly faced the press and answered tough questions. Today, simply asking a question can make you a target.
