Chief Gaming Officer @heroicgg
Prev @TeamLiquid Director of Esports & EFG. "There's no difference between a knight and any other man aside from what he wears."
This is the hardest news I've had to give in my career.
The unfortunate reality is that Dota is a tough game to commercialise, and at HEROIC we have not been able to make it bear fruit for a long time now. I have nothing but faith in this group of people, and the only reason we've made this decision is financial. Even though they won't be under our banner anymore, I will continue to work with them outside of my responsibilities to HEROIC.
The team is sticking together, and will be searching for a new home in which they have allowed for me to represent them. If you're interested in Dota and want a team with the potential to win titles given the right support, you can reach out to me directly. Either you have my number, or you can e-mail me on rnym90 at gmail dot com (avoid Twitter DM).
Even though it goes without saying, thank you to everyone that is both currently on the team, but also people of the past. You all have a special place in my heart.
@vendettaxd11@heroicdota2 Keep being who you are, and speak up for what you believe in. We would not be here if it wasn't for people like you and others in the community.
@vendettaxd11@heroicdota2 I am - much like yourself, even when you don't agree - doing what I believe will be best with the means that we have available to us.
@vendettaxd11@heroicdota2 and calling for what you believe in. Getting messages like these are something I enjoy much because it shows that we have people out there that care about what we do. Your opinion and input is welcomed and appreciated. What I will say is that I hope you understand that ...
@OctavianZilch If our HC SSF characters go to SSF of the same league when they die, how come there's no migration possibilities? Manually ripping things over feels off when you've decided to allow characters to continue in the league.
@JesperLarsen222@CounterStrike We currently have three Swedish players in the lineup, and if itβs up to me, Iβd never allow all three players to participate together because of this.
@TPotatoa@heroicdota2@Davai_Dota I think Scofield and the rest of Peru Rejects have done a good job this off-season, and had a lot of motivation to do well. My personal feeling is that Scofield's been enjoying playing with that team.
@TPotatoa@heroicdota2@Davai_Dota I will still watch as many matches I can of Scofield, and root for his success. Just as I do with Hector, analog and Parker. They all know they have support.
@TPotatoa@heroicdota2@Davai_Dota Iβm sorry to disappoint you but kaffs donβt make final decisions on our team. I do. Parting ways with Scofield has been incredibly sad, he knows I love watching him play Dota but I believe itβs for the best, not because of his skill but his happiness and motivation
@heroicdota2@Scofieldota I am sad to see you leave. I always loved watching you play DOTA. You will be missed. I hope to see you in the future, friend.
@heroicgg@LNZcsgo 2/2 tough situations are things I respect about him.
I know the circumstances are hard right now, but I have a lot of faith in you and will be rooting for you to find the right place to succeed. Thank you, @LNZcsgo
@heroicgg@LNZcsgo 1/2 It's never easy to have these conversations, but this was truly one of the harder ones. Over the past year I gotten to know Linus well, and have admired him a lot. His work-ethic, willingness to step out of his comfort zone, and professionalism in handling ...
@heroicdota2@mangusupma Vlad has been an integral part of our DOTA team and its success. It's not been easy to say goodbye, and I hope that we'll meet again in the future regardless of the colours you might be wearing.
Thank you for this time, we couldn't have done it without you.
@BLASTPremier@heroicgg@FNATICCS2 Alright, what a way to phrase this...
This is simply due to the time between decision to make our roster change (Sunday, Aug 10), and BLAST's deadline to confirm visas (Wednesday, Aug 20), we aren't able to acquire a UK visa for Yasin.
@Guashineen Vitoria, it's been nothing but a joy to work with you this past 1.5 years. We make a good team. I truly wish things were different. You'll be a positive asset wherever you go.
Whatever you choose to do, I hope our paths cross again in one way or another. Don't be a strangerπ
Thank you Lama, I am sorry it didn't work out the way we all wanted it to.
It's been great work with you as well. This year is one that I will remember, and thank you for being a part of bringing the first HEROIC DOTA trophy to the team. I hope we'll see more of each other in the future.
