I continue to make the point that Indiana should be a model for the nation on voter ID. Roughly two decades ago, Indiana passed the nation's first voter ID law, which was upheld by the Supreme Court. Since then, Indiana expanded voter ID to absentee ballots and added a proof-of-citizenship requirement. Indiana has some of the most secure elections in the nation, and we should pass the SAVE America Act to ensure every state conducts elections with these important safeguards in place.
