@SkinnerLyle In a world of numbers, clear and bright,
A change occurs to set things right.
A tweak that's simple, not too slow,
Replacing value columns with zero.
@JeanneCBC It forces you to wake someone up in Hamilton before 5:00 a.m. to give an EXCELLENT interview on steel tariffs. Or should I say "fentanyl tariffs." π
@JeanneCBC I didn't catch the name of your 6:13 tariff guest, but he was great! Elocution, enthusiasm, knowledge, densely-packed information - he could give Peter Armstrong a run for his money.
@SkinnerLyle Does 43(c) mean that if I buy just one beer in another province, from a corner store (which is not a "liquor commission, board or similar body), I am prohibited from having it and consuming it in NB?
@stevemagness 1. Use "it's" when you want to say "it is" or "it has". "It's" is a contraction of those phrases. Here, "doing it's job" should be "doing its job."
2. "When all it gets is signals ..." should be "When all it gets are signals ..."

@stevemagness Yes, if you told us 10 years ago that Grant Fisher just took down the indoor 5000m world record, I would have said: "That's impossible! Grant Fisher is only 17 years old!!" And it's not "indoor" any more. It's "short track." #thinkbeforeyouwrite
@dieworkwear Dressed this "well"?? One would not say: Imagine if every man spoke this good. Similarly, one should not write: Imagine if every man dressed this good. Sentences, like humans, should be properly adorned.
@stevemagness Wow! I feel sad for anyone who adopts this: "As we age, our potential future selves get narrower. We start to feel locked in." As a person about to turn 70, I know SO much more than I did at 60. Every day, life brings new opportunities for growth and reward.
@JeanneCBC Good info from the Buy Canadian interview. We can't count on the 30-day pause in tariffs. The US Prez has proven he does not adhere to rules. It will be no surprise to wake up one morning before March 4 to hear he is "very unhappy with Canada" and has unilaterally imposed tariffs
@dieworkwear Similar to when a USA President used economic threats to try to take over Canada. In derisive union, Canadians started wearing their ties at least a foot too long. (and started boycotting all things USA)
