A month since changed CC system to TW, firstly the system alone is superb, cameras a great add on then secondly & obviously JUMP, a great app where there is lots of work & most passengers are ex FN & Gett users, more than makes up for slightly higher fees

@michaelblackcab Mate I honestly can’t believe the whole discussion as it’s got personal to certain people, You’d never believe we’re all in the same profession, you choose your org, your hours, apps if at all and crack on, we ain’t all gonna agree but that’s called life, no need for hate though

@walshie64 No where near the worst, only been out 16 years so not as long as lots of others but 1st 5 years of being out was proper kipper, Paddington rank past metropole, no space on any other ranks & drive around for 3-4 hours for 1-2 fares, last 10 years been ok jan/feb

Seeing posts how quiet it is etc 🙄, this year so far has been decent and a better than normal January.. BUT this week is 1/2 term, the start of Ramadan and historically kipper is generally quiet until Easter ish … not sure what cabbies are expecting?

@stormcab I emailed them once I knew my pass mark and that I had passed about my license as I was just days before mine run out and hadn’t heard anything

@stormcab I got mine on a separate email notifying me of my pass mark etc about 4 days after my test then got my email telling me my license is being renewed after that

@CabbiesMate @stormcab Yeah pretty sure it was 36, various types of questions..multiple choice, complete the sentence and fill in missing parts of paragraphs etc….same I took my time and cross referenced everything, not complicated but definitely not as easy as being made out,

@IllLeaveMyMark They will let you know BUT you can just go ahead and book it yourself which I’d recommend as it’s one less thing to worry about, got mine on fri & license expires 14th

@WiseyCabby Best thing I done was change the the nuts, original ones just to shallow and any breaker bar just slips! Had to change tyre couple weeks ago with the new nuts on and no problem at all, all done with the original bar etc you get with the cab, the tyre shop in Chingford done mine

@Toni67Toni @JonB0712 Just tried to register etc but says I need an ongoing application OR a reference number from certificate within last 30 days, so possibly cannot register yet and have to wait until renewal pack comes through.

@deloncab It’s unbelievable how drivers,especially “Londons finest” don’t know that 2 lanes go forward into guess what - 2 lanes! Happens all the time crossing that junction
