Mentioned months ago that @jon_d_doe's popularity had gotten into his head and that he was egregiously out of order and his followers claimed I was hating because he has a female audience and I don't.

Bambulu and YomYom have also spotlighted how he's become autocratic and is often needlessly obnoxious and they too were attacked.

No surprises there really. Hero-worship is a fundamental component of human nature and people will k!ll if necessary to defend their 'god.'

One beauty of this side of twitter is that we are not conflict-avoidant. If anyone repeatedly steps out of line, you can always count on at least one person 'in-house' to highlight it. That is what men do. If someone is fvcking up, we will tell them they are fvcking up.

We do it partly because if we do not, we will be tarred with the same brush by malicious actors seeking an opportunity to discredit us. And therefore, it becomes imperative that we act as mutually regulatory mechanisms for the collective good. We do not have to be friends or mutuals and it does not have to be personal.

I just like to believe it is common sense to correct those who seem to be going astray even in cases like this one where they have built a bellicose and intransigent cult-like following for themselves and apparently believe they are above reproach. We will play our part and condemn it.
