@MarcusduSautoy@thetimes What would happen between 16 and 18 though? Do adults need more complexity than GCSE? Calculus etc? Don’t they actually need more clarity and relevance to life with what is already taught? That doesn’t need an extra two years, it needs better funding and other improvement pre-16.
@SoVeryBritish Because everyone told them there was a truck coming and they’d get run over, but they’d had enough of experts and it was all just project fear. Then when the truck hit them, it was all the fault of the people who’d yelled “no, don’t do it”.
@CazB52 @UKBeanzOnToast @NicholasTyrone@euromove The point is we started higher, outperforming other nations, then slumped after Brexit measures came in. How can you not understand a simple graph?
@CazB52 @UKBeanzOnToast @NicholasTyrone@euromove The data I posted was a comparison over time, not an absolute snapshot. What you’re saying has no relevance at all if we’re comparing U.K. via other nations over time, does it?
@CazB52 @UKBeanzOnToast @NicholasTyrone@euromove We do not have record exports. Never have done. When asked to prove this, you posted data on the rate of change. That is not ‘record exports’.
@QuantumCopy @UKBeanzOnToast @jimbocrofts@NicholasTyrone@euromove You can see the pandemic clearly in the data and the recovery from it.

@CazB52 @UKBeanzOnToast @NicholasTyrone@euromove What? I think you need to read our conversation again. This is the same misunderstanding climate change deniers use.
We *do not* have record exports. We’ve fallen far behind the EU. As I keep telling you, the record is in the *increase*, not the amount. The amount is rock bottom
@CazB52 @UKBeanzOnToast @NicholasTyrone@euromove Yes, exports are increasing, we all know that. That increase has to be looked at relative to other nations to mean anything. Look at the graph to see that.
Strap a piano to an F1 car and it’ll be accelerating at the start, but it’ll lose the race, won’t it?
@QuantumCopy @UKBeanzOnToast @jimbocrofts@NicholasTyrone@euromove If you’re having trouble with graphs, which clearly are, an article for you to read:

@QuantumCopy @UKBeanzOnToast @jimbocrofts@NicholasTyrone@euromove And long term growth compared to other nations (a growth star we can look at reliably):
@CazB52 @UKBeanzOnToast @NicholasTyrone@euromove Now compare that to the global and European economic background at those times. Look at the graph of exports - you can see your figures in it, plus others, surely what’s happened is obvious?!
@Matthew_XRP@drbecky_ Processing time. Photos have to be worked on extensively before they are viewable. This even applies to amateur astrophotography; I've got this earmarked for retirement, but a friend who's at that point now spends about 8 hours processing every image.

@Twits_Twatted@JMPSimor Ok then, show me the graph where other countries had a sudden nosedive in new nurse registrations in 2016 and then suffered shortages thereafter.
@MatthewStadlen Nope. Under Labour we'd still have long queues at Dover, problems with staffing at airports, businesses with lower profits due to lack of access to the single market and customs union, the low GDP taht results in, very high inflation, sewage in our rivers and seas, and so on.
