@tamnguyen0880@Erdayastronaut It's already been retired. They're just finishing up their commitments. If you have cargo today, you can't book a launch.
@RDWareEsqu1re@Erdayastronaut On the show, SpaceX said that Pad 39 a is finished and it's just undergoing certification test. It said that they will probably be two more flats from Texas before they do the one from 39..
@FedUp_Patriot76@_MAGA_NEWS_ It's because Trump knows how to negotiate. We never were interested in owning Greenland. We only wanted to control it. All that talk about taking it over was just a negotiating tactic. we got 100% of what Trump wanted. Plus the benefit of pissing the liberals off.
@ThermosMargara@jrxcket They did figure it out. It's not economical to bring the center back. They have to give up too much performance. It's all about making money. When they find the side cords back they make money they wouldn't win the center core.
@Raptor_54321 The last one did a good boost burn. It was the landing burn that messed up. if all the engines don't light on landing it simply goes into the ocean.
@Charlez2@MarcusHouse Probably not. Remember when the US has coal got blown up and had to be brought home on one of them. It was so bad it wouldn't even fit so they had to turn it sideways. It was probably 10 times as heavy as starship. Maybe more.
@jeff632@maximumxspace The chances would be like eight hours apart due to orbits. It only takes about three hours to clear one off of the tower. If they had any problem they could wait till the next day you'll bring your starship back.
@beck33040@maximumxspace The chance of it missing is about the same as the fountain nine missing the landing pad. Doesn't happen unless something blows up.
@beck33040@maximumxspace I believe that people are looking at this wrong. I think there's a point in space that both the starship and the booster have to go to. landing engine is burning then landing is a piece of cake. If you are not stable when you get to that point then they dump it in the ocean.
@H_K_8472@KenKirtland17 That makes sense they can't do polar launchers. Although if they use enough fuel they can do it from the East Coast just not efficiently.
