Rob, it’s going to be difficult to turn this juggernaut around as numbers in development groups (5&U6’s) are growing rapidly and the idea of teams/fixtures etc is hijacking development right from the start. Needs a rethink IMO🤔

The Girls from our U11s squad were absolutely brilliant tonight!
Incredibly proud of the girls and the football they played throughout!

Was trying to get you on this bandwagon back in January. I do not think there should be transition to bigger format at all at the end of this season @sturge_p
If young players are due to move to the next “bigger format” after the lockdown, please consider if this is the most appropriate way to return. Lots of important development lost. Staying small can be better👍

Until then it is vital that everyone continues to abide by the restrictions currently in place, making every possible effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 so that cases continue to fall and the proposed easing of restrictions can happen in line with the timetable outlined today
While the Government guidance does permit youth and disability football to continue in Tier 4, travel between Tier 4 areas to train or play is prohibited. Hertfordshire is currently one Tier 4 area, so you can travel across the county, but not in or out ➡️ https://t.co/uRoturs3eS
Coronavirus | Following the Government's announcement of new national restrictions, they have confirmed that 'non elite' football will be suspended during this period, including all youth and adult grassroots fixtures and training. More details here ➡️ https://t.co/uRoturs3eS
Thursday 8th October will be our FREE trial session.
For anyone interested please contact us ASAP.

@FA@DCMS DCMS before being released. And how can you even compare this to cricket? Football is a contact sport, much harder to bring in guidelines to ensure it’s safe! You would all be quick to shout if the guidance or plan was thought through to maintain your safety or you child’s safety
@FA@DCMS The replies on this tweet are absolutely clueless! Why can’t people get a grip. The FA have been working to get football back from day 1. A plan has always been worked on, all NGB’s need their sport back, just look at redundancies being made! It has to be agreed by (1/2)
Following @DCMS's announcement of new guidance to enable competitive grassroots team sports to return, we are working to submit a comprehensive action plan for Government approval.
Following the Government update today we are aware many people will be awaiting a response on football specifically. @FA are working with the DCMS & Government, when the guidance is confirmed we will publish on our website, social media and to our Leagues.
