@mikitaposts Persian, Dari and Tajik are literally the same language. Also there is no such a thing as "Arabic" (there is MSA but nobody speaks that) but learning Moroccan vs gulf Arabic doesn't have the same utility.

Humanity, created by God in all its grandeur, is today facing a pivotal choice: either to construct a new Tower of Babel or to build the city in which God and humanity dwell together. In Jesus Christ, this humanity in its grandeur becomes the Way, the Truth and the Life, opening the path for each of us to grow toward fullness. #MagnificaHumanitas

i’m sharing today’s episode of On This Day… 1776, because i am amazed at the progress our team at Primordial Soup has made in the last four months. but first - why did we start this project in the first place? why put ourselves in the spotlight, knowing there would be pushback? generative models and tools have developed at lightning speed in recent years, and their potential as storytelling instruments has become undeniable. so in january, we kicked off the this project to release 30 episodes over one calendar year, in order to track and demonstrate the progress of these models and how artists are learning to wield them.
if you compare our first episode in january with today’s drop, it’s hard to ignore the advancements. it is still not cinema with a capital C. but it is, without a doubt, storytelling.
at this moment in time, when our collective attention spans are bombarded with 8-second clips of nonsense, it is paramount that we invent new ways to explore longform narrative. On This Day… 1776 is doing just that. it also employs scores of artists, writers, producers, and SAG actors collaborating to figure out how to harness the tools. the future is unknown, but as artists we need to lean in and be a part of shaping it. i can't wait for you to see our july 4th drop celebrating america’s birthday.
today’s episode directed by @isaachorror. produced by @promordialsoup_. distributed by @time

Woe to those who manipulate religion and the very name of God for their own military, economic, and political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth. #ApostolicJourney#Cameroon https://t.co/bKteFZ3iWE
President Trump's latest threats on Truth Social, if carried out, would violate the law of armed conflict as laid out in the Geneva Conventions and the DoD Law of War Manual. It is both irresponsible and wrong to indiscriminately kill civilians in Iran and destroy civilian infrastructure like bridges and power plants — particularly when the President said this war was to aid the Iranian people.
On top of that, it’s our service members who are put in legal and mortal danger. And when the smoke clears, it will be our service members -- not President Trump or Secretary Hegseth -- who could have to live with the consequences.
President Trump has walked us into another complicated war in the Middle East. His decisions are making us less safe abroad, raising prices and costing American blood and treasure. He must negotiate a way to end this war, open the Strait of Hormuz, and bring our warriors home.
