@ashleymcnamara "Philip and Alex's Guide to Web Publishing" was a seminal book for me. I read it as a mid-career business application developer on UNIX systems and it opened the realm of the Internet to me from a perspective other openings hadn't. Thx, @PhilipGreenspun https://t.co/tyMFSE3sx1
@tmclaughbos New account, who dis?
(Since @robotTERROR is fubared, I am seeing if an old account renamed to @robotTAYLOR will be able to be followed). Wanna be amongst the first? :)
@tmclaughbos Mmm. Looking forward to reading this. I and my SRE team have pushed for Serverless first since 2015 and we have NO REGRETS.
Of course, there are uses cases where some infra is needed, but generally, if it CAN be Serverless, from Ops perspective it's a win.
Devs like it, too.
@blakehounshell@chrismunns It's very similar to the Nixon era -- look at the international agreements Pres Nixon was hammering out at the time he, Tricky Dick, was obstructing justice and worse vis-a-vis Watergate.
Kinda amazing.
@Ana_M_Medina@bridgetkromhout It’s what we knew but hoped that somehow we were wrong and there was something of substance if not quality to the elected POTUS...and nope. It’s Idiocracy.
