@wholemars It really isn’t. It’s *very* annoying.
They’ve used the same pulsing blue warning that alerts you when you’re not paying attention or need to move the wheel to prove you’re holding it - which are justifiable nags.
This one isn’t - so why use the same UI?
@CllrSteveF It would be interesting to hear if @hantsconnect has any plans to support a similar scheme.
I’m lucky enough to have off-street parking (and charging) but many aren’t.
Dear Every Council in the UK, you need to do the same as Cornwall Council who have just created a system to allow those with street parking a way to legally and safely install a charge cable under the pavement. Sure it’s not perfect (e.g. when someone else parks in this spot) but it’s a superb option for many.

Hi @DunelmService, You’ve sent me an email advising a date you’re going to deliver my order - but we’ll not be in. How can I pick an alternative date? Your website lists a whole host of options but none of them are “let me pick another date” - I’ve looked everywhere.
@MetroBank_Help Unfortunately when I call that number I end up speaking with "Ada" who completely fails to understand the issue and instead tries to direct me to a branch. How can I speak to an actual human to get this resolved?
Hey @MetroBank_Help is there a known issue with your sign-up process right now? My wife and both ran into this (on different devices) on Friday, and trying to resume the application today is no better. We resume the application process and soon run into this...
@HMRCcustomers Hi Sofia. It’s for my father (who’s 82 and doesn’t do Twitter/X). He no longer completes Self Assessment but made charitable donations in 22/23.
It gets even worse. No wonder these type of fake products continue to be sold on Amazon.
Buyer beware. You can’t get nearly 1TB or genuine usable flash storage for £12. Despite what @AmazonUK@AmazonHelp claim. 🤦♂️
I wrote a @AmazonUK review explaining it was fake to warn other unsuspecting users. It contained no offensive language, only an accurate description of the issue and a screenshot of the failed tests.
This morning that review was rejected for not meeting community standards.
@AmazonUK What’s the process for warning you and other consumers about dangerous/fake goods being sold on Amazon?
I bought a USB stick advertised as 982GB, tested it and discovered it’s a fake device with a small amount of storage that throws away data over around 20GB.
