@ericdchristen@KyleKulinski@ContraPoints My guy you’re white too, but I’m not pressed when a story that can’t even be corroborated comes out.
Collins had an affair with a man who’s wife was dying of cancer and then married him, I think that’s a bit worse than a Heritage Foundation op saying he’s a bad boyfriend
@PollTracker2024 Fetterman has become a republican since being elected and Dem voters in his own state have such a low approval rating of him that he’s practically in the negative. Who gives a shit what this ogre thinks?
@harrisonjaime The old people in question have been in office most of my adult life with little to show for it besides a large portfolio, single payer HC for themselves, and a pension
Their ideas don’t solve modern problems, and the generation in question made things worse. Pass the torch
@ChrisCillizza Well considering even the NYT said they couldn’t corroborate a single accusation despite getting access to multiple forms of communication, methinks it’s you who are being hypocritical here.
@RoguePOTUSStaff@NilesGApol My god dude the fucking NYT even states in the article that they can’t corroborate what was claimed. It’s not me saying it, it’s the publication itself
@RoguePOTUSStaff@NilesGApol Yeah, the ones that they checked that showed no details or corroborating evidence to back her claims? Those electronic messages?
@neeratanden Paxton is corrupt and gave a sweetheart deal to a child rapist, pretty sure there’s nothing that Paxton would say that matters. Why do you even care anyway? Nothing he says will impact Maine voters, stop putting weight into GOP attacks that they would do no matter what anyway.
@RoguePOTUSStaff@NilesGApol Or it could be that like the accusations they published without corroboration of any kind, the NYT could be sued into oblivion for publishing something damaging without an ounce of proof?
@gr33nseven@DebRN1953@PpollingNumbers The lady making accusations about him being a shitty boyfriend (and somehow trying to equate that as a scandal) is a Heritage Foundation op who has worked with Collins. Even after her comms were checked and people were interviewed, not one thing she states can be corroborated
@mikehtrujillo Take it from the moderate California Democrat who was a former Clinton lackey, yeah I think we should all pass on this advice. You probably want a fossil like Mills who will do fuck all if elected
This is what everyone is missing about the Platner story.
The reporters talked to Fifield's family and friends. They read her texts, Facebook messages, and even her diary. Absolutely nothing indicates this serial liar is telling the truth.
The only incriminating message the Times found was her saying she wanted to help Susan Collins.
@JLBrightLaw@CNN Nobody is ignoring it, but having basic corroboration is a fairly low bar to clear. That said, who/what you think is “left” might greatly vary. For instance, if you think a corporate media outlet or Democrat leadership are examples of “the left”, we’ll never agree on anything.
To recap:
- Dem and Rep operatives spend the week setting the narrative that Graham Platner is a predator
- Pro-Israel NYT runs a story on Graham Platner
- Done by a pro-Israel reporter
- No SA allegation
- They talk to 6 exes. 3 say he was fine.
- 2 of the remainder say he drank and womanized
- The last is a Conservative activist who protected Brett Kavanaugh
- She claims Platner trapped her in a room
- The NYT reads her diaries, texts, Google Chats, and Facebook messages. Nothing corroborates her story.
- NYT finds a text from the accuser saying she "Would personally campaign for Susan Collins."
This is the most obvious Zionist smear campaign in history.
@JLBrightLaw@CNN I’m asking if you think a media outlet or journalist should be able to publish stories that they can’t corroborate basic details for. Why can’t you just answer the question?
@Tonkahawk@NathanJRobinson Interesting how there’s zero corroboration for domestic abuse or any evidence of subscribing to Nazi beliefs (unless you count a skull and bones tattoo that passed all military inspection, and until 2026 thought it was a skull and bones tattoo like 99.99% of the planet)
Dems' reactions to Platner making it transparently clear that "Vote Blue No Matter Who" was always just a way to make leftists to shut up and vote for centrists, not an actual principle
