@JoseBello2@SableCorgi@Genki_JPN 64GB, the issue isn't size though, it's the fact the cartridges supposedly cost publishers about $15 each, making proper physical releases on the console a costly endeavour
@KryZenDesigner@FrostedYukio Nintendo are definitely experimenting a lot with prices on the Switch 2. And I definitely prefer the variable pricing of recent over the "everything's 70" from before Yoshi. There's no reason Mario Tennis should have been $70, and β¬80 physical in Europe was criminal
@KryZenDesigner@FrostedYukio Sorry, I should have written "budget", cheaper than stuff like Mario Kart and Bananza. Yoshi is β¬70 physical, Splatoon and Star Fox are β¬60. MSRP obviously, can find retailers matching digital prices just like in America, but all games from Yoshi onwards have been priced $1=β¬1
@KryZenDesigner@FrostedYukio Fire Emblem is the same price physically and digitally as Bananza here in Europe, so yes, it was a $10 rise to physical, not a $10 drop to digital. Splatoon is just a budget title, like Star Fox and Yoshi
@H4ppyd4yss@KirPinkFury Because DK and MKW were before the price split back in March, how hard is that to understand? Nintendo said when announcing the price split they wouldn't change any prices. And I refer to European prices as Nintendo loves their $1=β¬1 conversion rate, see everything Yoshi onwards
@H4ppyd4yss@KirPinkFury Mario Kart was β¬80 digitally and β¬90 physically, β¬10 more than Donkey Kong, Fire Emblem, etc. Would have been $90 physically if they started the price split at the same time as Europe
@RealGrillChz@Wario64 DLC not included but does get S2E benefits if installed. The Torna physical is getting a free patch to put it inline with the S2Es
@j_syaro@Nintendeal Considering Capcom's track record I highly doubt it, but with it coming 2 months after digital I guess there's maybe a slight chance?
