Tomorrow I will complete another chapter in my public service career. It has truly been an honor and privilege to work with the dedicated men and women of the @USFWS and @NatlParkService. Thank you for your service.
Thank you for the outpouring of concern about the welfare of a threatened West Indian manatee recently harassed in Florida. @USFWS is working closely with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to investigate this incident.

An unexpected visitor @COcanalNPS brings beauty and intrigue. Male painted buntings are perhaps the most spectacularly colored of all North American songbirds, with their bold combination of red, blue, green and yellow feathers.

Today I was privleged to personally meet with and thank the brave men and women from @USParkPolice, including their colleagues from the @USPPNYFO who are helping to safeguard our Nation's Capitol and our @NatlParkService iconic monuments.
Our brave men and women in the U.S. Park Police responded with dispatch to assist the U.S. Capitol Police, while also continuing to protect our national parks, memorials and monuments. Thank you law enforcement for your service and unwavering commitment to securing peace.

"I'm fine. This is fine. Everything's fine."
But seriously, it's fine. In winter, #bison develop dual-layer coats so effective at insulating that when snow accumulates, it will not melt from the heat of the bison's skin. @YellowstoneNPS#Montana#PeaceInParks
I am always a glass is half, or maybe 3/4, full kind of guy so I like this concept of thinking about the positive of 2020, which in my mind was a lot #FindingPeace@NatlParkService and @USFWSRefuges. Share yours.
2020 has been a tough year, so we are taking a time-out to enjoy peaceful moments at national parks!
We like to look at the bright side, so we invite you to think: what is one peaceful moment you owe to 2020, one you might not have experienced in a different year? #FindingPeace
Dawn arrives at #Kīlauea's summit, where scientists are monitoring the new eruption within Kīlauea caldera. Since Dec 20 (~9:30 pm), 3 fissure vents on the wall #Halemaʻumaʻu crater have fed lava into a growing lava lake. #Kilauea2020
