The brilliant @Feargal_Sharkey sums it up
"The whole industry’s got to go. Absolutely, without exception"
Time to end the privatisation rip off diverting 1/3 OF YOUR WATER BILL into shareholder dividends and debt
Are you listening @DefraGovUK ?

We won sick pay, pregnancy protections and an end to no-fault evictions because workers and renters organised and demanded them. Now Reform UK's Great Repeal Bill pledges to scrap the Employment Rights Act, the Renters' Rights Act, and even the Equality Act that protects you from discrimination at work.
Scrapping your rights won't lower your bills or raise your pay. It just hands power to bad bosses and rogue landlords.
Workers across the country are putting posters up in their workplaces and telling Parliament: oppose the Great Repeal Bill.

On Monday I had the honour of speaking to the @GMB_union congress in Blackpool.
Here's what I had to say about the 10,000 members of the GMB, the incredible, incredible people who work within the water industry.
"Feargal Sharkey brands '£100billion' cost of nationalising water 'nonsense'."
And that is because it is nonsense, pure unadulterated, made up nonsense.

Bills are going up - so are bank profits.
Increasing the bank surcharge tax would pay for a cut to energy bills up to £559 a year.
It's time to redistribute wealth.
Today at #PMQs I raised the 32 dodgy UK ‘charities’ who’ve sent almost £30m to illegal Israeli settlements.
Constituents will be appalled that they, the taxpayer, have likely subsidised this by over £5m.
Why is @ChtyCommission asleep at the wheel when their job is to stop this?
The family of the victim of the Belfast knife attack, Stephen Ogilvie call for calm after riots erupt in the city. In a statement issued via their MLA, they say:
“We are completely devastated by the horrific attack on our loved one. This has been a massive shock to our whole family, and right now our only priority is being at his bedside and helping him recover.
“We are aware of the tensions and talk of protests following this incident. We want to make it absolutely clear that overnight unrest is not welcome, and peaceful protest is the only way forward.
"We have many migrants who make a deeply valuable contribution to our country, including in our healthcare system and hospitality sector, and we depend on them to make our country work. We do not want this terrible tragedy to be used to divide people or fuel hostility.”
Reform UK isn’t the party of workers
❌ Voted against workers’ rights
❌ Would cut thousands of public sector jobs
❌ Scrap the Equality Act
❌ And weaken NHS & social care staffing
Their tax plans benefit the richest most—like their millionaire backers https://t.co/QQiwgm5xpR
The ‘Great Israeli Real Estate Event’ is to be held in London this Sunday.
This disgraceful event will involve the sale of land stolen from Palestinians in illegal Israeli settlements.
Today, I called for the Government to ban this event.
You voted against scrapping zero hour contracts.
You voted against banning fire and rehire.
You voted against day one sick pay for workers.
You said the minimum wage was too high for young people.
Reform politicians openly say they don't like trade unions.
You will always put the interests of your offshore crypto billionaire donors ahead of workers.
I do not hesitate in telling Nigel Farage where he can stick his offer. The idea our union would affiliate to Reform when they are attacking our members and pledging to take away our workplace protections is a sick joke.
The silence from Sharon Graham is worrying when other unions are speaking up. I am calling on Sharon Graham to confirm our union is not and will not hold talks with Reform or any far-right party.

My father was photographed standing outside this very building in 1962, he was attending the TUC conference in Blackpool.
In a few minutes time I will walk on to the main stage and address water industry workers and delegates at the GMB Union annual Congress. @GMB_union
He would have been very proud.
Our union must always show full solidarity with any union rep under attack. An attack on one of us is an attack on all of us. Solidarity with Richard at Southampton docks.
It's not just the exploitation of a tragedy.
JD Vance's picture of Britain - where migrants have led to a crime surge - is the opposite of the truth.

Proud to give the opening speech at the National Trades Councils Conference in Leeds.
Trade unions have a vital role to play in winning the real solutions people need - and in taking on the phoney answers being pushed by Reform.
Well done to everyone who organised and attended!
🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham has pledged to scrap business rates for shops, cafes and hairdressers - and reduce them by 20% for pubs
It would be funded by increasing taxes on online tech giants and their British warehouses
