Going viral sounds great...until it actually happens. There are some challenges that come with having a viral moment as a musician. What's it really like? We look at that today on the channel and talk to a few artists

Today on the channel we ask a fun and horrifying question: what does it mean to “make it” in music in 2025?
Special thanks to @robxapollo@ReubenVincent_@gaothearsonist_ and ivri and everyone who replied to my IG story!
Man where do I start… First of all I wanna thank any and everyone who’s followed me to this point. Yall trusting my process and supporting all my little crazy ideas kept me here and I’m not even tryna be dramatic. Since my last album I’m aware that in a lot of your eyes I probably became unrecognizable. I’m praying this release shows yall that I never actually lost the plot, just added a few revisions. After getting dropped by @RostrumRecords I fell into a really dark place. I became bitter all around and felt like I was never really given the chance to show everything I was capable of. I lost my manager after that. I lost people I thought were my real friends after that. My siblings both passed away after that. Honestly.. I lost everything I had but I promise I never lost my mind. I ended up taking matters into my own hands and that’s when the virality came. All my little ideas started being seen by millions of people but I wasn’t aware of the blessing and curse that it actually was. Me being funny and garnering attention resulted in strangers thinking they knew me, artists thinking I’m just a “gimmick”, and my intentions being lost in translation resulting in me feeling boxed in. It was like my whole 5 year rap career beforehand just vanished. Yall thought I was being funny just cause? Nah, laughters the best medicine and I was genuinely fighting for survival. Yall SEEING me gave me that much more of a fighting chance. You don’t gotta like me but at the end of the day, at least I’m doing this shit with intention and proving you don’t need a shitty marketing budget to get some heads turning. I gotta thank my brother @NiceRec for handling the production on this entire album and being patient with me. I love you beyond words and I’m so excited we’re finally getting this out. I gotta thank @IdlabsMusic & @gvrretthvnter for their help with the mixes and master. Yall been holding me down for years and I’m excited to show the people what we’ve been on 💕

The @OxfordUnion removed a portion of my speech for referencing booby-trapped toys left by Israelis for Lebanese children in the 80s. They claimed I was inciting to violence by stating well-documented facts. Here, it seems zionist demons are still up to their old tricks.
