Ticketmaster has a loophole so they can continue their practice of jacking prices - just raise the face value on only the tickets not sold, so they can still gouge the price, but fans can't.
Report on that @6ixbuzztv
Well lookie here. @TorontoFC jacked the price of supporters section tickets to $259 face value for the Inter Miami game this weekend… Season ticket holders can’t sell their tickets for more than $42 though. #TFCLive@ScottFriedman3
@LarryVelez@brianmcc If there's a diminishing need for the tech, does that make less room for the culture? America showcased a glamorous lifestyle the world didn't know existed at a time. But does the world need that anymore? If the tech goes in-house, maybe the culture does too.
@LarryVelez@brianmcc Great counter point.
Though I do wonder how much of that dominant culture has come from the lead in adopting new technological mediums en masse. Radio, television, Internet, Social Media.
The US first dominated these mediums, and sold culture to the world along with the tech
@browsercompany@arcinternet As others have reported, there appears to be an issue with at least wallet extensions. Tried both @MetaMask and @phantom and neither is working suddenly.
@giansegato Did this for 70mm Oppenheimer. 👌🏻 Have done this for various things over the years. I even did it when my barber opened up after the pandemic - they had time slots booking in blocks. Used to do this with PHP scripts way back when. Great party trick for your non-dev friends.
@WorldSciFest@bgreene There were some technical difficulties, then it went dark. Didn't hear what happened and no announcement. Can you update on this?
A few places you can report these violations:

The @LCBO, an ~$8 billion (annual revenue) monopoly run by the @ONgov, and this is their custom UI for filtering 854 whiskies:
1) 21 point "slider" is linear (set by least and most expensive items), meaning, the first stop is $4253, immediately excluding 833 of 854 products
🧵
Obviously this is only one small part of a greater UI/UX and accessibility disaster, for a business that does ~$8 billion in revenue annually, on behalf of Ontarians.
Will anyone step up and enforce this?
