Great to see this book about the history of the UK Confidential Enquiry into Maternal Deaths published today... "shows how significant advances in maternal healthcare are possible when clinicians, politicians and the public work together." Still lots to do.
Our commitment to perinatal and infant mental health does not finish with the Programme Board.
Funding will be continuing for statutory services, and we have extended funding across the third sector for a further year, while we consider longer term plans.
In addition, the Scottish Government have invested £2.8 million in the third sector over the last 4 years, which has funded 34 organisations to date and has supported over 7000 people
