For friends and colleagues leading churches this Easter weekend: wherever you are on a scale of smashing it, to faxing it in, to crying on the inside or outside - God will do his thing just by your turning up. As he always does. As you always do. @SeeOfRochester

A good article on calling:
“I think that discovering our calling — our vocation in life — goes hand in hand with a process of self-discovery, of uncovering the unique reflection of the image of God that he has placed in you.”
Rich Gower reflects on working out your calling to express the Kingdom of God, what that might involve, and how to stay motivated https://t.co/VnmO5bmv8B

You may be considering Church Army Evangelist, Spiritual Director, the Religious life, Anna Chaplaincy, Children and Youth work or simply how you live out your calling in everyday life. All are welcome to come and explore.
You may want to explore your vocation without knowing what God might be calling you to do and if that’s you It’s Your Calling is still a good event to come to as we explore how God has been working in your life, how God calls in the Bible and other possibilities for the future.

Members of the @SeeOfRochester DDO Team away for three days learning more about about how we can encourage and support those discerning a call to ordination. Great to be meeting with other Directors of Ordinands and the national Ministry team. @BishopTonbridge@JonathanRGibbs
The discernment process uses image and metaphor as people explore calling. At the New Posts conference 3 priests built a Lego image of their vocation. Spot the Holy Spirit, a place where there is no limits for God, and a ministry which builds bridges and open doors.
Yesterday I had the joy and the privilege of speaking to a class of 30 Year 6 pupils about the windows in our parish church. Many hadn’t been in a church before, so I was given the opportunity to tell them what happens in church and why. My vocation is a real joy @SeeOfRochester
If you're want to explore a lay ministry you might want to sign up for the next It's Your Calling Day at Paddock Wood 24th February 2024 Speak first to your parish clergy and then sign up. Watch this space for the sign up form https://t.co/EgNswKYdF7
