@TheMadMoth@gusinater It was so out of left field and made me doubt the rest of the book. Like if you’re going to just drop that how can I trust the rest of your reporting???
@Normaslawyer I forgot to bring athletic clothes and made a falling catch in my work polo and vans. Possibly a pity award but Reid called me MVP when he saw me for like a month
@revdon77422@DJSnM Capcoms have not always been Astronauts since the 90s - since the dawn of the space station, there’s too many shifts for only the astronauts to do it. About 2/3 of the Artemis II CapComs were not astronauts
Seeing people so supportive and inspired by this mission we worked so hard on has brought me immense pride and joy. Thanks everyone, let’s go back soon.
@DrChrisCombs On one of the early shifts, MPO (responsible for Orions solar arrays) positioned an array such that the camera on the end could see the moon and when the video was streaming he said “I present to you the moon!” And the science officer just goes “can confirm that’s the moon”
Hello, Moon. It’s great to be back.
Here’s a taste of what the Artemis II astronauts photographed during their flight around the Moon. Check out more photos from the mission: https://t.co/rzM1P0QbOl
