@adliehassan Absolutely strange and backwards that they would call themselves jews (adherants to judaism) and justify their positions with their scripture/tradition while being non-religious.
@AbuMaryamRM That's not what I meant, I meant such a system wouldn't be fair for the rest of us who applied earlier. Universities are non-profit and apply equal/fair measures, not opportunistic measures like flash deals that businesses do.
@AbuMaryamRM I may have misunderstood and you may be correct. I applied in the 1st phase, they never announced that they'd have a 2nd phase with free offers, so I'm hoping it'll be free for myself as well for having applied much earlier.
@AbuMaryamRM They don't say it's the first 100, though (arrow pointer). If it were that way then that wouldn't have been fair for those who applied during their first phase in September.
@YahdiAllah@Lbizzle779@ojora I don't understand what you're trying to prove here. You clarified your use of the word "favor" and I clarified why I opposed your use of it. That should've been the end of it.
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
@YahdiAllah@Lbizzle779@ojora If I fast I'm going to fast as an ibadah to Allah and a sunnah on top of that, to seek award and nearness. That should be my intention. Sorry for my bluntness, but it cannot be as a favour to you or any other creation.
May Allah rectify our affairs, ameen.
@YahdiAllah@Lbizzle779@ojora Arranged communal fasting, really? You could've brought proof for that all this time as I haven't found such. Could've saved us time.
@YahdiAllah@Lbizzle779@ojora 🤦♀️
Salatul istisqa' is legislated. Communal fasting is not.
Personal fasting is a personal deed is neither communal nor arranged.
@YahdiAllah@Lbizzle779@ojora Also by any chance do you also celebrate "mawlidun nabi"? If so, then I think any further conversation with you would be futile.
