Our co-founder, @EvaVlaar, praised and defended @elonmusk in the European Parliament for saving freedom of speech in Europe.
“Do you really think Elon Musk will bow down to Ursula von der Leyen? I don’t think so!”
@thebuggeddev@threejs Amazing work but this already exist in most of major clubs around the world. Plus the images of the view they show are a lot of times real images of the pitch or hi-fi recreation of it. If you got to that hi-fi level when showing the views would be great .
Bypassing the latest #EU#ageVerification app (2026.07-1) with a Chrome extension... again.
Despite 3 months of security hardening and genuine improvements across the board, the fundamental issue cannot be solved.
Anonymous age verification doesn't work.
The number of community notes on the posts of EU institutions really says it all.
Protecting children matters, of course. But this EU plan is not about protecting children. It is about giving Brussels more control, and using children as the excuse.
Protecting children starts at home, not in Brussels.
Abolishing anonymous internet for 450 million Europeans just so teenagers can bypass it in the blink of an eye isn't child protection. It's surveillance dressed up as safety.
So let me get this straight because I am still recovering from the insult.
The EU passes a chat control extension with an antidemocratic process, and the same day, they pushed for the digital euro (of course, the old school style), without any referendum at all.
We are poorer, over regulated, unsafe, more unproductive than ever and their main concern is airlines?
Let's add some facts ok?
Members of the European Parliament receive a salary plus separate allowances for travel, daily subsistence (covering expenses like accommodation and meals), and in top of that general office/expenditure costs. So in a way, you DO NOT experience (or pay for that matter) ANY of these unimportant things, and now you put it out there like a hand out?
This is the monthly and daily EP members "handout", and by all means, let's talk average so no one gets offended by decimals:
Salary: 8,500€
DAILY subsistence allowance: 340€ (for this can be thousands of euros based on proof and claim of attendance)
And this is just the "handout" on Brussels or Strasbourg, so i won't mention when you travel outside the EU. People can check it out on the web page.
Now, about TRAVEL:
EP members are reimbursed for actual travel costs to attend official meetings (e.g., between home and Parliament). This includes air, up to business class, rail, also first class (why not), or car up to €0.59/km, with annual limits.
Please, with respect, enough is enough. Do not offer hypocrisy by giving people crumbs. You are the real "weight and cost", not my bag on a plane.
The European Parliament voted AGAINST Chat Control. 314 to 276.
And it passed anyway.
Let me tell you how: they needed 361 votes to say no. On the last day before vacation. Every empty seat counted as a yes.
They lost the vote. They won the law.
That’s not democracy. That’s a trick. #ChatControl
