@levisback A meu ver esse caso mostra exatamente o contrário. A Igreja é uma instituição divina, mas composta por pecadores, e é claro que o tinhoso iria tentar usar isso para desmoralizá-la pros desavisados. Mas é difícil convencer alguém com mentalidade inconscientemente materialista.

Alem disso, vcs se prendem a uma interpretação linear da Biblia, o que gera a confusão. A nova aliança supera a antiga, pq Deus se fez homem e o que veio antes foi uma preparação para sua chegada. Por isso a antiga deve ser interpretada por meio da nova, e não a nova como mera continuação da antiga.

Dito isso, não somos a religião da livre interpretação do livro, isso é islamismo, somos a Igreja de Cristo, à qual, por Ele, foi dada a autoridade de dizer o que é e o que não é a interpretação correta e tudo mais.
