@flowergirl_lon@TfL The person next to me also folded theirs to allow the wheelchair on. The bus driver didn’t even attempt to ask us before saying no to the wheelchair. Not to mention there are signs on the bus that say wheelchairs are priority 2/2
@flowergirl_lon@TfL bus drivers are useless. A wheelchair needed to board the bus I was on with my buggy, (another buggy was next to me) the driver told the wheelchair user to wait for the next bus as he couldn’t make us fold down our buggies. I told the driver no, I’ll fold my buggy. I did 1/2
@GuyTalksFinance I loved my cousin’s child free wedding. It meant me and my husband didn’t have to spend everything moment trying to entertain our child or constantly keep checking where she was. We were able to have a good time together.
@YodelOnline your driver either didn’t try to deliver today, or didn’t deliver to the right block because there was no card left and the time you say you tried to deliver, someone was home.
@VFerrerNow@MillieOfferman@KeenanPeachy “Herpes is forever not so much pregnancy” no, but the child that results from pregnancy is also forever, or do they just disappear after birth?
@DoomScroling One potential upside to artificial wombs, once all these single men have to start raising children alone, you can guarantee paid maternity leave will become a thing.
@greghove @WorkoutWoman23 Very much so. I remember when my husband signed on, a person was calling him by completely the wrong name. Then a different person, got up called him by the correct name and said angrily “we have been calling you!” No love, you haven’t.
@LawrenceLiKaiSo @alicesmonkey@_celia_bedelia_ Ah yes, because there’s a catalogue of “good men” where women can flip through and choose the right match. Because every bad man writes it openly on a t-shirt and advertises it wherever they go.
@faera_lane My mothers cat was named marmalade (because he was orange). Animals don’t have the awareness that their name means anything. Never met a dog wanting to change his name because the owners called him Malteaser
@bertram_the_mom Me and my husband both have the find my phone app for each other, but it’s only because he usually puts his phone down and doesn’t hear it ringing, so I can ping him. He also uses it sometimes to look at how far away I am, so he can start dinner.
@SandyofSuffolk Can’t stand the on the beach advert. No matter how many times you play it, it’s a god damn Christmas song and I will never associate it with anything else. Any advert that takes an old song and (badly) changes the lyrics automatically turns me off the product. And the slurping 🤮
