After his #r4today interview this morning, my respect for @PhilipHammondUK has hugely increased. Cold fury, cogent arguments, steely determination: well done him.
@filthy_dog @robtownsend@UKLabour@TheGreenParty Same here. Despite fine anti-Brexit Lab candidate in my region, I thought it essential to maximise vote for Remain parties. I'm still a left-wing member, admire McDonnell, Thornberry etc but v disappointed in Corbyn over Brexit, antisemitism etc. #LabourAntisemitism#expelmetoo
@nicholaswatt So on Monday if Nigel Dodds and the DUP vote for Ken Clarke's amendment to the WA, you get both Brexit AND keep NI aligned with the rest of the UK. Seems his logical choice to me.
@BBCDanielS Why on earth are you even reporting this? With such momentous events happening (or not happening!) why mention the daft ravings of an insignificant neo-Nazi thug? Please BBC, just ignore him.
@George_Osborne@EveningStandard Schadenfreude Mr Osborne? While I much admire your current trenchant opposition to the disaster of Brexit, I believe your years of imposing hard austerity is to blame for the inequality and division that was the major driver of the Leave vote. Any regrets?
@MrJoeMcCabe@jamandthat @PoliticalJenga Jobs lost. Higher prices. Loss of crime-fighting capacity. Shortage of drugs. Food shortages. Massive lorry jams. Loss of air routes. Return to violence in NI. Etc etc. These are facts, not "Project Fear". Now you tell me why we'll flourish - FACTS not wishful thinking please.
Privileging pensioners to keep them voting Tory, diverting money away from the arts and running down the BBC - if you're Theresa May, what's not to like?

@MrJoeMcCabe@jamandthat @PoliticalJenga Dream on Joe. Or give us some authenticated FACTS to show how we will "flourish" (and I don't mean "because we survived the blitz").
Sunday saw an inspiring afternoon meet at the St George’s Guildhall, King’s Lynn, hosted by @shakespearesGH on their plans for the theatre’s future. We knew Shakespeare performed there, but learnt - by a long shot - it’s Britain’s oldest working theatre.

The day after that I was at the EU Parlt in Brussels to hear fine, clear, balanced speeches by Barnier, Verhofstadt and other grown-ups saying how much they wanted a deal with UK and to avoid hard border in Ireland. But we're told that they're the problem. So stupid, so sad.
I'm a happy person. Illness, bereavement and redundancy haven't dented exuberance. But listening to MPs selling this country and my children's future down the river in pursuit of an illusion, a lie that solves the Tory party's problems and no one else's, has just done me in
