US CPI has moved down from a peak of 9.1% in June 2022 to 3.1% today.
What's driving that decline? Lower rates of inflation in Fuel Oil, Gas Utilities, Gasoline, Used Cars, Medical Care, Apparel, New Cars, Food at Home, Electricity, and Food away from Home.
Shelter and Transportation are the only major components that have a higher inflation rate today than June 2022.
📣 The tech-to-small-cap ratio has skyrocketed, surpassing even the heights of the Dot Com bubble.
The magnificent 7 stocks seem dangerously overbought. Anyone else feeling frothy?
Chart: @GameofTrades_
For decades, job openings in the US and the S&P 500 has been highly correlated.
Beginning in early 2022, job openings began moving sharply lower.
Currently, the S&P 500 and job openings have a wider gap than ever before.
Either job openings need to rise or the S&P 500 needs to fall, but history says the gap must be closed.
What will it take to close this gap?
🇺🇸 S&P 500
The low percentage of US stocks trading above their 50-day moving averages, a contrarian indicator for oversold conditions, may indicate a potential rally in the S&P 500
